About
About Carl
Carl Fisher grew up in the Metzger area of Washington County, Oregon. Attended Tigard schools and graduated with a B.S. in Political Science from Western Oregon University. Throughout high school and college, he volunteered and worked on political campaigns from president to waterboard. From snows of the Iowa Caucus to summers at the Oregon State Fair, he has worked with a wide range of candidates, professional staff, and volunteers. The biggest lesson he has learned in politics is that you can do everything right and still not win. It has helped him keep perspective on whatever campaign or effort he is working on each cycle.
He spent five years working for the Democratic Party as the Field Director in the second largest county in the state of Oregon. Where he forged partnerships with community groups and advocacy partners to better help candidates and activate the grassroots. In 2022 he was appointed a Commissioner to the Tualatin Valley Water District and won election in May of 2023 to a two year term.
