Early Career

One of the more interesting aspects of American politics is that by and large nearly every political candidate starts off running for something before they end up running for President. In modern politics it is hard to find many strong presidential candidates without any background in politics. Donald Trump is for sure an outlier to most politicians. Joe Biden served in local government, then the U.S. Senate and vice presidency before becoming president. One of several collections I am interested in is that of early career items of candidates for president and vice president. Below are some examples from my collection.
